Music has always been an important part of my life, but it becomes even more meaningful when it can support a worthwhile cause and bring comfort to others.
One of my proudest projects was producing a CD entitled Timeless Favourites for Macmillan Cancer Charity. I also recorded Handel’s beautiful aria, Art Thou Troubled, in support of the British Red Cross. I have been deeply touched to hear that many people have valued and enjoyed the recording.
Since 2023, I have continued to use my voice to help charitable organisations. I began by singing in support of the Air Ambulance before being invited to perform in a Handel concert for the British Red Cross. This led to further performances at venues across Lincolnshire.
Last Christmas, I was honoured to be asked by the British Red Cross to lead a special carol concert. It was a wonderful occasion, bringing people together through music while supporting the charity’s important work.
My next performance will be in October, when I will be singing in support of Cancer Research UK. I am very much looking forward to once again combining my love of music with the opportunity to help such an important cause.
My musical journey continues, and I look forward to sharing more performances, recordings and special occasions in the future.
